  001   Before we get started, dear reader, you must know that I am not a fast responder. I have a busy life outside of Roleplay. If you have not gotten a response to a thread after two weeks, please bump it or send me a quick message to ask if I still intend on responding, if I have forgotten, lost muse, or if it simply got lost. Before joining the Straw Hats in Alabasta, her hair fell to her waist in loose curls (2C), often cut in a “princess” cut. Her hair is thick, something she got from her mother; her bangs are cut in a curtain fashion before being lightly feathered halfway down her neck before it blends in with the rest of her hair.[ It was quite the surprise for the crew when she revealed that she had not been born with her tongue split down the middle, but rather, forcibly had it split when she was thirteen by her mother and father. ]Her eyes are large and framed with naturally long, dark lashes. Suma is the only one of her siblings who ended up with dark brown hair rather than black, and it holds a red sheen to it when she gets enough sun- as does her skin, taking on pink tones (rosacea).Her skin is clear, albeit a few beauty marks she holds. One on the lower left side below her bottom lip, one beneath her right eye, and one beneath her left eyebrow- right at where the arch sits. Her eyes are a deeper jade than her siblings, holding an almost forest tone around the pupil. She wears light makeup- a brown eyeliner that extends into a little triangle at her inner corners, and extends out into a small wing at the outer corners, mascara, creme blush in a rosy shade on the apples of her cheeks which extends up towards her temples, and a red tinted gloss.
Her figure is shapely, though less than her sisters.POST-TIMESKIP
During her time spent on Gravedigger Island, Suma began to bulk up and lose majority of the soft fat that she'd had before hand, replacing it with muscle gained from working the land and training with Drew and Marigold. Near the end of the timeskip, Suma has an altercation with her older sister, Mizuki, in which she gains a burn scar on the back of her left shoulder, and a trio of deep scars that stretch from one side to the other across her stomach. Due to this fight, she is forced to cut her hair short, with it falling just below her chin when she reunites with the Straw Hats.

Suma wears shorts more often than not when on the ship & in temperate climates, paired with short, non-heeled boots and shirts that fit her figure- often showing peeks of her stomach. However, she has been shown wearing a standard qipao with a base color of emerald and golden embroidery work, as well as full winter gear.
She takes careful care of her appearance, including her hands. She files and shapes her nails into a medium oval shape, though the color routinely changes. She wears a golden ring on her left middle finger of a snake eating its tail- ouroboros. On the underside, yarn is wound around the band; this ring belonged to her father.She has a familial tattoo on her left bicep of a snake curled around a bouquet of marigolds and a single chrysanthemum. There is no color to this tattoo, only shades of gray and white highlights. She has an additional tattoo on her right thigh that extends upwards, nearly to her right hip, of a raven surrounded by roses. This piece is also gray work.
She has both ears pierced twice in the lobe- first and second holes. She enjoys wearing delicate dangling earrings in the first hole, and a clawed hand in the second. She doesn’t wear necklaces often, finding that they often get in the way.She doesn’t like wearing skirts; she says that they don’t let her move how she wants to. On her thighs, she wears her holsters for her pistols. She has a knife hidden in hee boot, as well.

Little Snake, All Alone
After being dumped into chum filled water, Suma barely managed to swim to shore with naught but two bags, her flintlock, and a secret tucked away. Over the next year, she goes from ship to ship, offering her skills as a gunner to protect cargo. She winds up on Drum Island a month ahead of the Straw Hats, where Suma kills her first man in self defense. She then steals his clothes to replace her sopping wet ones, and takes his small ship while his crew of eight were in town.Alabasta
Having been in Nanohana for a week before the Straw Hats arrived, Suma had nearly spent all of her coin. In a last-ditch effort, she attempted to pickpocket Sanji after "flirting"- something that Zoro caught by quite literally grabbing her wrist and tugging her hand free. However, before anyone could say anything- the Marines show up, and she is dragged along for the first adventure of many. She remains with the crew- mainly out of necessity- and aids throughout the end of the arc. During the fight in Alubarna, Suma was spotted having taken to the roofs, where she could get clear shots. She aimed for non-lethal shots, mainly shooting weapons out of hands or giving warning shots to disrupt the fighting. At the end of the Arc when asked if she would join them, she admitted that doesn't know fit they would want her with them- but if they'd take her, she'd be happy to join.After all, someone needs to know how to take care of their cannons.She doesn't trust Robin at first- though truthfully, she doesn't trust any of them, yet.Skypiea
Suma explains to the crew during their initial sail about her family, leaving out key points including who her sisters are- merely referring to them as her older siblings. She speaks mostly of Ayame and her children, as well as her youth spent on Janoshima. When the ship falls from the sky, everything changes.[ Relatively close to canon; nothing here changes. ]Water 7
Suma reveals that she had been to Water 7 when she was nine with her family. The Sapphire Serpent had needed repairs- which is when Robin asks Suma just who, exactly were her parents? It was then that the crew realized Suma had kept information from them, and Suma is forced to explain who her family actually is:"My father was known as the Son of the Serpent, a pirate captain known for his ruthlessness. I was their final child. My oldest sister is the swordswoman known Lady Mamushi, my other older sister is the current Empress of Janoshima, my older brother is a Captain in the Marines, and my other sister is a wanted criminal known as the Deadman's Daughter. I don't talk about them because Kiyomi tried to kill me, Mizuki killed our parents, and Junpei abandoned me on the Sapphire Serpent without fighting to take me with him."It was here that she revealed the scar she kept covered on her wrist was from her mother, and the split tongue was not genetic.Tensions remain high until Robin is revealed to having been taken, in which Suma finds Usopp and Franky. She places herself in front of Usopp while Rob Lucci, Kaku, Kalifa, and Blueno take Franky. Suma fired a warning shot, and approached by Surya, a woman who worked with the four cp9 agents. When Suma shot Surya point blank through the mouth of her mask, Surya did not flinch. Two shots, and Surya reached in, gathered own blood, and smeared it across Suma's face.They left with Franky, leaving Suma with Usopp, horrified and shaking.Enies Lobby
Suma once more becomes the sniper for the group, aiding "Sniper King" with picking off Marines- though pointedly mortally wounding then whereas Sniper King would not. Suma would aim for chests, sternums, and heads. In the peak of the fight, once everyone split off to save Robin, Suma went digging through offices, finding information regarding her family. Not knowing that a Buster Call would be done, she set about destroying every bit of evidence she found about the Fujihara-
Until she found a folder about her ancestor, Yukiko. What she read was enough to scare her, to which she took the folder, stashing it in her bag.In the aftermath of having Robin back, Suma began to warm up to her at last.Thriller Bark
Suma introduces the Straw Hats to folklore from the island, including the Split Mouth Woman. Brook has bone chilling good timing.[ The events of this arc do not change. ]

Sabaody Archipelago
Sabaody is a welcomed distraction. Suma leaves the group to go off on her own, determined to find a weapons peddler that she could trade with. While Nami and Robin go shopping, and everyone else meets with Rayleigh- and then the Amusement Park- Suma runs into the Kidd Pirates. She compliments Kidd's flintlock and asks if he'd know of a peddler she could strike a bargain with. The two speak for a while over their individual guns, Suma explaining her method with creating her own bullets and explosives.He jokingly asks if she's looking for a new crew, which she turns down with a laugh.Later, after regrouping with everyone (unintentionally) in the Human Auction, she runs into her cousins- and older sister. Itsuki spots her first after trying to leave, disgusted with this practice; she hugs Suma and asks why she's there- and how she got there? Suma explains that she's here with her new crew, much to Itsuki's surprise. After Luffy's disastrous interruption and arrival, Kiyomi decides it's time to go- which is when she spots Suma- and asks Suma to rejoin her to save Ayame. This was the first Suma had heard of Ayame's capture, though nothing else could be said due to the arrival of Marines.As the Strawhats escaped and regrouped with Rayleigh and Shakky, Rayleigh reveals that Ayame had been there. Suma asked if she'd mentioned anything about her plan, in which Rayleigh reveals that she had a debt to settle with a woman known as the Drachen Maden. Apparently, Ayame lost- or turned herself in.As they parted, chaos ensued. In the fight against the Pacifistas, Suma was able to shoot out an eye- though in a moment of pure panic, she throws herself in the way of the real Kuma's hand in order to try to save Zoro, and ends up as the first one to vanish.Gravedigger Island
Suma landed in sand, on the beach of Gravedigger Island. Alone, confused, and injured, Suma wandered until she found a house with a flourishing garden. This house belonged to Marigold- a Gravedigger Nokk who essentially "owned" the island. After explaining to him what happened, he offered for her to remain on the island for the time being.After learning the truth of what happened at Marineford, that her aunt was killed, her sister had been maimed, and who knows where the rest of her crew was, Suma felt lost. She broke down for the first time in Marigold's arms, who told her that she could stay as long as she needed.The second breakdown came after two months of nonstop essential beatdowns by Drew during training, which led to Suma yelling out in frustration and finally landing a surprise blow to Drew's face, shocking them both. Then, her real training began. She had felt as if she were letting down her crew by not being up to par with them- therefore, they began to work from the bottom, up: hand to hand, sword, and finally, at the end, her flintlocks. Though Suma had a secret weapon: her agility with fishing line, weaving intricate threads across the field while fighting, creating countless trip wires that would later come in handy with explosives, but currently were just frustrating for Drew.Cain and Abel
Near the end of the two-year timeskip, Mizuki arrives back at Gravedigger Island, set upon asking Marigold where Suma and the map were. What she hadn't anticipated was Suma being there, waiting for her on the beach. Suma had spotted the Big Top while out with Drew, and had told Drew that she was going to take a walk while Drew prepped for dinner. In that time, Suma had planted her wires and explosives in preparation.A fight ensued after Suma told her that she would not hand over the map. Mizuki lunged first, and Suma fired off two warning shots at her feet. Suma slid off of the rock she had been perched on and began to run across the sand as Mizuki transformed. The first explosion to go off caught Mizuki off guard, burning her side.Explosion after explosion rocks the beach, drawing the attention of Drew, who arrives mere moments after Mizuki slices through Suma's stomach. Drew fires off a warning shot at first, drawing their attentions and giving Suma an escape. The next shot fired hits Mizuki in her shoulder. At the final threat, Mizuki leaves, returning to the Big Top docked in the ocean, angered and inured.Suma would leave Gravedigger Island one month later, still healing but needing to get back to her crew.
